Window repairs

Ruan Malan from Whitby

We can happily recommend Richard Spiller, he did a very professional and affordable job on our windows around the house

Explanation (include): Job entailed cleaning and freeing up a house lot of seized and stiff aluminium awning-style windows. Also repaired factory fitted stays where rivets had sheared from the frame and some retro fitted ‘Securistays’ that appeared to have been installed correctly.

Handyman recommendation

Karen Sheppard from Paremata

I have finally worked out how to do this! I would like to recommend Richard Spiller as a good handyman who managed to fix a hole in our floor after a small section of it had turned to weetbix. He responded very promptly and made a good tidy repair.

Marama Parore, Plimmerton

I live in Plimmerton on the beachfront and therefore my home takes a hammering from the elements. I have used Richard – OddJobs? Handyman Services – since one of our dramatic storms when we needed 2nd storey spouting replaced.

I cannot recommend him highly enough.

He undertook a full maintenance review for me and works once a month for 2-3 days working through the list of items. He has also helped with installing some of my beautiful art work.

He is a quiet careful person and I trust him to manage my home maintenance.

TESTIMONIAL FOR RICHARD SPILLER.

Maxine Montgomery, Paremata

I am an independent career woman and have asked Richard to work on a wide variety of jobs on three separate properties owned by our Family Trust.

He assisted with the preparation for resale of a Flat in Paraparaumu, doing an excellent job relaying Lino in the bathroom area and tidying up the skirting boards in the bathroom. He prepared and levelled the ground for the installation of a spa, using tiling sand and concrete tiles on another property. After the installation of the spa, he privatised the area with lattice fencing and brushwood, making an artistic outdoor enclosure. More recently I have asked Richard to do a long list of odd jobs on my boat shed, including putting up shelves and curtain rods, fixing a dripping tap and installing a blind.

Whenever I have odd jobs to do I always ask Richard, because I know he is thoroughly reliable and extremely careful about every job he confronts. I also know he will consider and suggest different approaches to solving problems, and will consider the cost for the customer as well. Richard is a thoughtful man, with many skills and a friendly manner.

I highly recommend him as a trustworthy careful home handyman.
